I totally started in on those coasters today. I began with tile that I picked up for dirt cheap at FabMo. I was thinking one set would be copper with wallpaper paper on top, the other set gold with black and white prints on top.
The acrylic paint went on beautifully with a sponge brush, with one exception… the gold was all dried up. Ah, the hazards of letting your crafting/art supplies lie unused for too long. I rallied with some aqua, ’cause I just roll that way.
Given how fun the paint was to put on, I may just have to buy more tiles at FabMo’s event this Friday. Hmmm….
